Land trip
No wind today so we had a little trip on land.
We were heading up a hill to a deserted Greek village. It was roasting hot and one of the group had to run back feeling very ill and over heated. Three of us continued and made it up to the village - abandoned in 1923 when the Greek//Turkey population exchange was instigated - 7000 people left this particular town.
It was too hot to have a look round so just a quick stop at the top of the hill and then back down. We felt grateful to be picked up in the dinghy, returned to our boat and to cool off with a swim.
The piece of our little bay was shattered by the party pirate boats booming out their music. So we motored off, still no wind, and found a bit of peace out at sea.
After a relaxing time reading we motored back in to a mooring and restaurant for the evening.
