View from a Field
The Coastal Path from Pittenweem to St Monans, at high tide.
We were walking in the stubble fields between showers. It was very windy and definitely a bit cooler. Good to see some much needed rain. Nice to get a break from watering the garden.
Yesterday in Hamilton wood we spotted an adult Roe deer quite close to us. She stood and stared but didn’t move, which surprised me. Then the youngest, tiniest fawn that I’ve ever seen stood up in the grass and made its way on shaky legs across to the adult. We just quietly moved on, so we wouldn’t frighten them. I was so chuffed to see the fawn.
