Boat Shirt

Following on from the Mallorquin Hawaiian shirt saga, a new shirt has arrived courtesy of the SK who is wont to wander the George St shops from time to time. Pretty natty, huh?
Time to read the Sunday papers – those Danes! They’ve raised their retirement age to 70 which of course is what our spineless politicians ought to do. Instead they load more and more onto the diminishing numbers of workers to keep us old crowd showered with freebies. We may even be getting our winter heating allowance back, such was the squealing. Put on a pullover you old fools – let’s have it up to seventy now, and ease the burden on the youth. Well, maybe not quite yet, let’s wait till my seventieth next year.
 
Along to Ocean Terminal later to meet P&K and take in the final Tom Cruise romp - Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Oh, it’s terrific - he plays a guy called Ethan Hunt who is part of this Impossible Missions Force and he has to save the world from some AI monster called the entity and beat a baddie called Gabriel and some Russians and he has to swim out of a sunken submarine under the pack ice and then the entity is taking over all the world’s nuclear arsenals and he’s somehow having to fight Gabriel in a biplane and he falls out and his parachute catches fire and the others have to defuse a nuclear bomb and the clock ticks down and then these bad guys turn up with guns! Honestly, you couldn’t make it up. No spoilers!
