Royal Poinciana Tree Love

It’s Royal Poinciana Tree season here on Grand Bahama with these beauties showing off their flaming red blossoms to the fullest right now. We are lucky to have two of these gorgeous arbors in the garden, and it’s especially vibrant when a fuchsia bougainvillea grows up high near the canopy. It’s like an annual fancy dress ball for these amazing trees—one of the few tropical trees that lose their leaves in the warm winters here and then leaf out again in the spring. Just reveling in the extra bright pops of vibrance in an already colorful island landscape this time of year. ❤️❤️❤️
