a rich image

Fisherman

Last night we boarded the HarmonyV, a small vessel with 40 "Road Scholars" and two Greek tour guides, the same excellent women that showed us some of Athens over the past two days.  Already, because of rough seas, we modified our excursion and traveled to an alternate island, Aegina.  It has a beautiful harbor, some shops, a remarkable Orthodox church (inland from this town), and is well known for its pistachio crop.

I had a difficult time selecting an image.  I had a lot of fun making pictures on the street and from a vantage point at a local coffee shop (see the extra).  We docked at the small beach town of Perdika, quiet and quaint.

We departed Aegina in the afternoon heading for an island with a totally different vibe, Mykonos.
