Portals Nous

Today Mrs CBL and I walked a round trip of three miles from Illetes to Portals Nous, which is one of Mallorca’s most upmarket resorts.  The town is a meeting place for businessmen, celebrities, high society figures and members of the Spanish Royal Family during their summer stays in the Marivent Palace.

As well as enjoying the scenery along the way we also stopped off for drinks, which surprisingly weren’t expensive.  

The temperatures reached 28°C today so much of it was spent in the shade.

The main image is of the island of Playja Dels Fenics which is about 200 yards out from the marina.  I have no idea who the old guy in the last extra is but Mrs CBL decided she wanted a photo of him and it was to be blipped!!!
