Bollywood on the Beach

So they were making a film on the beach and prom today. I saw some earlier pics with dancers on the prom but when I walked past this afternoon they had moved down onto the sand. It seemed there were a lot of 'background artists' in the foreground while a couple - perhaps the stars of the film? - ran along the sand behind them, throwing a ball to each other. They did seem more important as they had people on standby with coats for them as soon as they had done their bit of running, while everyone else just had to make do. Lots of standing around and then quick bursts of action. While I was there they did the same thing three times. Wonder what it will look like in the final film - how many minutes for a day of shooting?
