Did you know that a Henry vacuum hose is wider at one end than at the other?

The hose on one of our Henrys started to come apart.  They do get used quite a lot.  Adhesive and gaffer tape to the rescue for now, but on inspection the hose it became clear that the ends were different diameters.

Then on to the study of replacement hoses as I'm unsure the gaffer tape will hold long term.  Apparently the variable-diameter ones do have a significant effect on performance.  Eventually decided on getting one from the UK-based Henry people rather than a Chinese after-market one from Amazon.
