At The Laundry Garden
SUNDAY
A couple of gardens in the area were open today to raise funds for charity, and we’d arranged to take George and Harriet out this afternoon.
It was after 2:00 p.m. by the time we were ready to go, so we headed to The Laundry at Llanrhaeadr, where the owners were raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Fortunately, the weather stayed dry all afternoon, so we were able to enjoy the gardens—and tea and cake—outdoors (see extra).
Afterwards, we managed to squeeze in a visit to nearby St Dyfnog’s Church and St Dyfnog’s Well blipped last week, followed by a stop at Llaethdy Llwyn Banc Dairy for ice cream and coffee.
After dinner at home, we refreshed our memories by watching Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning: Part 1. Part 2 was released last week, we needed a recap to keep up with the storyline as we are all planning to see it at the cinema soon.
