Another shoreline

The weather forecast wasn’t too good but as it turned out we didn’t get rained on once while we were out of the car.
Our first stop today was Hartland Quay - I absolutely love the wildness of that day with the rugged rocks and churning sea. It certainly lived up to that today.
Next we popped into the huge church in Hartland, then along to the lighthouse. The wind was incredibly strong there.
Then went to Hartland Abbey. A beautiful old building where many films have been filmed, and is regularly in magazines. Went to the lovely walled garden then had some lunch in their courtyard. A further stroll around the grounds before the house opened at2.00. I was reminded that the Mallory Towers series was filmed there, so now have started to rewatch them - I loved those books as a child.
