Crochet and reading

… took up some of my day. Earlier on I went to morning tea at the National Trust house to celebrate volunteers week. I didn’t stay long ( plastic chair and cold weather) and got a lift home with Lyn. It was nice to see the local team.

The book is quite different from my recent novels. This one is about a young woman in WW2 answering readers queries about ‘personal’ problems. Very funny.

I sewed in the ends on my plain crochet squares and I am now working on the next lot. I hope my niece appreciates it. It’s relaxing. When I started I wasn’t following a pattern and kept altering the squares. I have just found one that is a different size so will have to unpick it.
