South of the border

We flew to Melbourne today to spend a few days with old friends and absorb a bit of southern culture. The blip from our apartment balcony shows the intersection of Bourke St and Collins St in the Docklands.
The tree in the thumbnail is a piece of artwork comprised of twisted steel girders while only 20m further along is a more traditional variety of tree.
