Van Gogh

We visited the Van Gogh exhibition at the LUME in Melbourne today - no original artwork but an extremely impressive light show and some sensational virtual reality.
As isbi has already blipped a comprehensive summary, I’ll stop at the above blip and associated quote. I never realised Vincent was responsible for so many great quotes - he was quite a philosopher, in contrast with so many modern artists who also love to make social or political comments beside their work but in so many cases only reveal the unfortunate losing battle they are waging with the English language!
I can recommend the exhibition to anybody - absolutely brilliant!
