Yellow Allium. It's called Molly Luteum.

The Feast Day of Saint Augustine of Canterbury.. Born Mid 6th century, Rome, Italy. Died c604, Canterbury, England. Status: Bishop, missionary.
Patron saint of Canterbury and England.
He was prior of the Benedictine monastery of Saint Andrew in Rome. He was tasked by his friend St Gregory the Great to evangelise the seven Anglo Saxon kingdoms of Southern and Eastern England.

The weather has been rainy and cloudy. 11c feels like 10c.

I have been busy doing housework but kept an eye on the weather so during a dry interval I could pop out and buy a birthday card and badge for Elliot, our soon to be 4 year old Great Nephew. I found a good card with a red foil number 4 and a huge birthday card with candles. I also found a birthday badge and posted it with some money for a gift of his choice. He starts school is September. The years seem to have flown. He is a wonderfully energetic, kind child and caring big brother to Alfie.

I am ashamed to report that Hunter our ginger tom cat, caught a Starling this afternoon. We feed both cats really well so he can't have been hungry. Paul shouted at him to drop it, but he ran with it over the fence into our neighbour's garden. I just hope the poor bird is not lying somewhere injured.

Prayers for Liverpool after the tragic incident there.

I hope you are enjoying your day blip friends.
