Yet another waiting room

I was hoping that the parking at the hospital would be easier with my new Blue Badge. But I couldn’t find any Blue Badge spaces! It’s a hospital! I’ve seen more Blue Badge spaces on supermarkets than I did in the hospital car u in ark! It took me a full 25 minutes to find a space!

The waiting room had a dismal faded photograph of Port Isaac on the wall. The fact that there were fluorescent lights on reminded me of the lack of windows and daylight in hospitals. I don’t know what the blobs in the ‘sky’ are!

I saw a different kidney consultant. He thought I didn’t need a biopsy. He organised more blood tests but it looks like it’s just a question of waiting. Again. When the kidney function goes down to 9 they start dialysis. It’s currently 13. I’m supposed to exist feeling unwell till then!

The rain in Cornwall brought out all the tourists from the beaches and onto the roads. It took me an hour to drive home when it should take 35 minutes. And I think some drivers have had their cars adjusted so their indicators only work AFTER they’ve turned the steering wheel!
