Oh no, not again!

I took a garbage load away in the morning, and on the way back the van had an engine failure with similar symptoms as three years ago. Luckily I was coming home without load with just five kilometres left, and I managed to drive a half of that, but decided that it was best to leave the van on the yard of the local earthmoving company and not try to drive up the next hill. An excellent place to leave it, as I got a ride home. I had lunch and fetched the trailer with the car and looked under the hood (got no wiser!) before making a few calls (the garage that repaired it last time to ask how long the warranty was (not long enough), the insurance company's emergency service to get it towed, the nearest suitable garage). The tow truck came in 20 minutes after the call to the insurance company.

No idea, how costly the repair will be, but last time all the injectors were replaced, so that shouldn't be necessary this time. Then again, it shouldn't have happened at all...
