Looking Across to Fife

From North Saint Andrew Street, Edinburgh. Up early and took Dot to the airport in her own car. Straight to The Gyle to look at jackets for Bb. No luck. Back to the flat and Bb ran a live session and I did some marking. Then to St James’ Quarter for a last chance of a new jacket, but again no luck.Thankfully, what he has is fine and so that will do for Thursday. An attempt to have a bite in our old favourite Cafe Royal, but we couldn’t get an ok table and it was a wee bit chilly at the high table we did get near the open doors. Headed back up to Morningside and to the same place as last night. Walking back to the flat soon and another early night. Moving location tomorrow to where Jean’s funeral will take place.
