Unlikely

I’m working on a document which I am supposed to submit tomorrow, and which is looking highly unlikely. I have so far reviewed and edited 26 of its 99 pages. Very mediocre progress.

I went home and had an online Swahili lesson with Yusuf. I was lacklustre at best and disinterested at worst. Halfway through the lesson his internet went off for three minutes, and I calculated with relief that the downtime represented 5% of the lesson’s duration. Hardly the sign of an eager student soaking up every second to bolster his language skills. Oh dear.
