Pikipiki

Motorcycle.

Confusion reigns about whether the Swahili word for motorbike is pikipiki or boda. I believe both can apply but the former term is more commonly used in Kenya. On further inspection I have drawn a distinction between pikipiki as a lower power moped-type and boda as more of an off-road dirt bike, but still used often in towns and cities as a form of taxi. These new motorcycles are the hardier field type and are currently in the main office awaiting onward delivery to a field station.
