Pouring the Concrete

I had a wonderful day with Flying.. we had lunch then we had a walk and a drive around the city. This shot was taken outside the Christchurch Art Centre. They were pouring concrete where the clock tower is. The building at the end is the Canterbury Museum. It didn't have too much damage in the earthquakes but the Art Centre was building damaged and well take any years to repair.

The Christchurch Arts Centre was a hub for arts, crafts and entertainment in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is located in the neo-gothic former University of Canterbury buildings, the majority of which were designed by Benjamin Mountfort. Wikipedia

We had another warm day but now it is cooling down fast for the cold weekend ahead.
