Attack of the Hungry Slugs

After a few days’ wet weather I was a bit worried about this - the slugs are back and they’re hungry. My Bok Choy hearts have been demolished and the strawberries haven’t fared all that well either. On the plus side though, the salads are (so far) unaffected so I harvested a pile of mixed baby lettuce. Must be summer.
The extra was a surprise when I moved a stone and uncovered a stash of ant eggs. Within minutes the ants had moved them all to safety. Until I move another stone …
