EBB
Emergency Bean Blip, of herself asking - with ridiculously soulful eyes - for her blanket please.
We have had three, yes three, walks today. After all, what better occupation is there when you're on holiday?
It reminded me of my year living in Kakanui when I was looking for a new permanent home hereabouts. Because there wasn't much incentive to garden at the crib I was renting*, Sana-banana and I would walk for up to four hours each day: always two walks and sometimes three.
All of those walks were by the sea. Just one of today's was within the sound of the surf. And very unusually the colours and light on the Pacific were completely flat: not Blip-worthy.
I fitted a lunch with friends between walks: a long overdue catch up for a couple of hours. This is turning into a sociable week.
* there seemed to be no point in slaving over veg beds when I hoped to move on long before anything was ready to pick
