Good Deeds

Our neighbour is only able to get around on his electric mobility scooter.  He presently has his son and his partner and their dog staying with them and yesterday the neighbour was clearly dog-sitting while the family was out.  W happened to look out of the window just as the dog escaped from the neighbour's garden and despite his calls for the dog to come back, it ran off.

W went out to see if she could help especially as the dog wouldn't really know the area so might easily get lost.  She ended up walking around trying to find the dog, and another young couple who realised what was happening joined in.  After quite a while our neighbour realised that the dog had found its own way back so went off to let W know.  All was well that ended well.

A couple of hours later our doorbell rang and there was our neighbour's son who was really grateful for all the help W had given and presented her with this rather nice bunch of tulips.
