Homeward bound
Throughly enjoyed our first day. I ran to Cockermouth while Susan did a HITT. A leisurely breakfast and shower then into Cockermouth to buy supplies and more importantly have a coffee at the Moon and Sixpence.
The washing machine was delivered this afternoon and heaved upstairs by two very capable ladies. Unfortunately, not all the work had been completed to allow us to connect up to the waste and cold water. The hole through the cabinet had been marked but not completely drilled through!
We then walked around the lanes, fields and footpaths of the local area with grand views of the Derwent Valley and on the way back of the Western Fells in the sharp early evening light.
Supposed to be wet tomorrow, changed abruptly from what was forecast only yesterday
