One of the yellow figures came out to assist L with the re-potting of the house plants. Had hoped I might hear today that I had a slot tomorrow for surgery on my shoulder but apparently not. Yesterday’s out-patient appointment rather surprised me as the consultant said my injury was at the more extreme end and would therefore benefit from surgery, which I hadn’t expected. When it does come round it should be done in a day but don’t know how I’ll have to be on the ‘pending’ list. He said yesterday there was a free slot for Thursday but obviously someone else had a more pressing need as I’ve heard nothing.
