Reserved Parking

Today was rainy and dreary, so I thought it would be a good atmosphere for a cemetery photo. 
We drove to Trinity Church and saw this sign (extra) in the parking lot. What a treat! “Doc” Maehofer is an old friend from our daughter’s choir days. I traveled with the choir as their photographer during their European tour. We stayed with a family in Waldorf, Germany, the sister city of Waldorf, Maryland, courtesy of the Waldorf Jaycees and its president at the time, Dick Gregory. We enjoyed the most amazing tours of Germany and Austria, as the choir was performing in various locations. The hosting group hired a charter bus, and at each stop, they pulled out a replica of the Statue of Liberty and entertained us with their musical group. We even attended a performance of La Traviata in Mozart Platz, starring Anna Netrebko. It was a fantastic experience.
