High skies in the cemetery
Often I take the bus home and walk through the cemetery. The top and older part is a nature reserve, so some parts are left wild, like this one. I liked the profusion of pink flowers.
Got 10 00 steps in today ( and yesterday, and all the days with Elspeth) because I walked to the park to meet a client, then we walked to the community centre, where I made some introductions, then walked back via a secret route, to the main road. I went back to the surgery, then later walked to the bus stop, and of course through the cemetery, again taking a rather peculiar route. All this added up, so I’ve hardly moved a muscle since I got home! I’m doing an online course and had got very far behind. All the Zooms are re-watchable, fortunately. I’ve watched two, and gave just one more to go.
Today was my colleague’s last day with our team. She is retiring, aged 75. I made her some flapjacks and S, my other colleague, picked her some beautiful flowers from her garden. We laid her a table to surprise her . She was quite overcome. I’ve put a picture in Extras.
We have already arranged to go to the cinema together next week, to see The Salt Path.
