Refusing To Be Outfoxed By A Foxglove
Today's image is another in my just outside our back door series. This foxglove is currently ensconced in a pot next to our winter jasmine hedge, which I have semi-successfully tried to topiarise into some kind of amorphous shape.
I was hoping my industrious hedge shaping 'achievement' would make it into my shot but I couldn't get the angle right to include them both and it actually made for a quite boring image anyway.
Refusing to be outfoxed by a foxglove I decided my image needed a bit more pizazz which is when I spotted an item of clothing (not mine I hasten to add - I'm not quite that sartorially brave!) hanging out to dry on our washing line and thought it might make for a more diverting background. So I positioned it on the hedge with the assistance of a couple of clothes pegs (I'm sure the item wearer wouldn't mind as it was purely for artistic purposes!) and this was the result! :-)
