Alexander and Grace
Wet, wet, wet for this morning’s early walk. Not heavy rain just persistent and very wetting, especially walking across the field.
No matter a good walk was had.
When I got back I took a picture of the two roses that have been first to bloom in the front garden. The red one is Alexander and the creamy peach one is Grace. Obviously bought as they are the names of my two children. ( I thought they looked better against a black rather than a white background)
The original red Alexanda (the new one is Alexander) was bought by my in laws when Alex was just a toddler but we had to replace it some years ago.
The rain has stopped now and it’s quite blowy but warm.
We are going out for an early tea and then going to Ilkley cinema for a live streaming of the musical SIX. I saw it last year in Bristol with Grace and the girls. It was a youth version, so somewhat abridged, but it was excellent.
I’ve tried to book live performances in both Bradford and Leeds but there were no seats together. When I saw it was on at the cinema it seemed the answer especially as it’s much cheaper and I actually got one ticket free with my accrued points. A bargain as these tickets are dearer than the standard cinema ones.
Looking forward to it.
