A drying Allium flowerhead
The Feast Day of Saint Bona of Pisa. Born 1156, Pisa, Italy. Died 1207, Pisa, Italy.
Patron saint of travellers, couriers, guides, pilgrims, flight attendants and Pisa.
It has been a very changeable weather pattern. I have worn my long green raincoat each time I went out.
After buying our newspaper from the Best One shop, I walked home, made Paul a mug of Gold Blend, had a chat with him and fed the cats. Then I went to Mass at the Church. Our priest is on holiday so we were covered by a priest from Nelson. He gave a good sermon for Ascension Day. Then after the Mass the priest revealed it was Maureen's 90th birthday. She was sitting next to me and she was given a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. We sang Happy birthday to her and she was full of joyful smiles.
Then I walked to Cohen's pharmacy, to collect Paul 's prescription. I managed to get home before it rained. Most of the day has been relaxing. I am watching Escape to the Country in Wiltshire.
I hope you are enjoying a lovely Thursday blip friends.
Thank you for recent comments and stars.
Today is National Biscuit Day. I like Scottish Shortbread and McVites Gingernuts. And pink wafer biscuits.
