Very heavy rain in the morning, every single drop is much needed.  It perked up a bit in the afternoon.  When the Current Mrs Creel returns from her duty at the cat shop she is taking me to the pictures!!  Blanche is throwing a dinner party this evening.  She is raising the bar by cutting the crusts off the sandwiches.  She said she didn’t realise how far a tube of cheese spread can go.  She posted it to Valparaiso.  I spent a hilarious two hours trying to fix the printer, then an hour trying to start a mower that has been given to us.  The mower is not talking to the printer.  I probably shouldn’t share this, but I reduced the length of two ladders. 
 
Be vary careful if you ever visit Aviemore.  Around any corner Jonathan Meades may be lurking.  It’s got to happen sometime.
