To be fair, Leo has noticed this much less than I expected but today he did raise an eyebrow (in a doggy capacity) when the Great Tit started up!
But I do apologise for blipping my clock, that feels like I’m properly scraping the barrel!  The problem is that my head is so full of all the Ben stuff at the moment that I’m not noticing the things around me as much as usual, so we had a couple of walks today but the scenery wasn't front and centre in my mind.  Normal service will resume, I’m sure!  Today was another big day as Ben had two visitors from his new residential setting, his key worker and the manager.  They were really lovely with him and we gave them chance to change his insulin pump and do a finger prick for his blood glucose machine.  Ben was charming and funny, bit over exuberant and pushy, very food obsessed and reluctant with some things so it felt like they had chance to bond with his cheeky personality but also saw lots of relevant things that they can think about how they would manage in their setting.  All in all, a success but of course, again, I’m knackered once it’s over!  Plus Ben's blood sugars were hopeless in the night so I haven't slept at all well (yawn!)  We’ve come up to the North Pennines for a long weekend now, Mr KCNQ2Haiku is off work tomorrow so it will be recuperative rainy walks and monopoly for a couple of days :-)
