I love it when the Iris come out in the woods, I've been waiting to take a photo but they've been in the shade the last few days when I have been.  
I don't have much time tonight as Ben wants to play some pretend packing for his residential placement.  He's been very full on today.  And that's even with him having six hours with the carers!  Although to be fair, they were late and they brought him home early :-/ He really didn't want to go again and when they'd arrived they'd changed the plans from the itinerary we'd been sent, so you can't blame Ben for feeling messed about.  Then he tripped when he was out with them so he's aggravated the knees he hurt at school a week or so ago so when he came home he was full of drama.  I managed to find a dressing big enough to cover it but it's not waterproof and now I'm anxious it's going to be sore taking it off in the bath.  Sigh.  He's in the wars, he's also made his thumb sore again by flicking it, so he keeps lashing out over that too.  And in 'house-wifey' worries, I'm miffed because I washed his bedclothes when he was out today and he's probably going to to get blood on them tonight.. OK, not priority number one.. but still!  Right, pretend packing calls..
