Onwards and Upwards

I had to be up, showered and dressed by 7am in case I was the first delivery stop for the Wren lorry. As it turned out, I was number 4. They arrived at 9.35am, stacked up all the bits and pieces for the wardrobe unit in the main bedroom (see Extra), and left at five minutes to ten. I leapt into the car and whizzed up the road to St Luke’s - walking up the drive just as everyone was emerging from the church to blow bubbles while the description of Jesus ascending into heaven was read. So I did get to join in after all - just! I didn’t take a photo at the time when we were all sending up masses of bubbles, but my blip is a fairly feeble recreation of it in my garden.

I spent some time doing some more tidying up in the garden, and now the garden waste bin is very nearly full. I’m very tired this evening after getting up so early. I shall be rising at dawn again tomorrow ready for the installation team - oh joy!!
