Another long walk............ And another RANT!!!

It was lovely along the coast path today. We walked from Chapel Porth to Trevaunance Cove and then walked up the St Agnes Beacon.  The sun was shinning and the sky was blue.

OMG?! By the time we got to the walk up St Agnes Beacon the mist was rolling in and when we got to the top we couldn't see a thing. BUT heyho.............. it didn't matter because it was an absolutely lovely walk and I was off my lead for most of it.

…...............And that's another two walks ticked off our, 'I Walk Cornwall' walks. Yay!

And then we came home and Ann started scrolling through FB (as you do) and there was an 'anonyomous' post from someone on the 'I love St Ives' page saying that they'd had a really bad meal in a restaurant last night and they wouldn't be going back, blah, blah, blah!!!


….............What is it with all these keyboard warriors??? Why post something like this on FB and why post anonymously? If you've got a problem with any kind of customer service, or had a bad meal, in an establishment that you've been to, why don't you just tell them?


My human worked in a hotel in Cornwall for 6 years (fortunately in the days before FB) but if anyone has a problem with the service they receive, or the meal that they don't like, why, why, why don't they just address the problem at the time and speak to the staff of the establishment. Just what is the point of 'not saying anything', to the establishment and then posting a horrible comment on FB????!!!!


If a restaurant doesn't know that you've had a bad experience, how on earth on they supposed to rectify it?! …............. And if the experience was that bad; why would one feel the need to put a post anonyomously on social media? If you've got a problem........... tell them............... that's the only why to recitify it!!!


Why hide behind a keyboard??? Grrrrrr...................
