Crinodendron hookerianum

Blipped by Maurice1948 yesterday.  Ours looks a bit unbalanced - I think all the top growth is new this year, and as the flowers develop in the autumn, they're all on the lower growth.  But the lanterns have been spectacular, and last for ages.

Apparently it's not fully hardy, but it survived a pretty hard frost in 2023, so hopefully it'll be OK.

It's been another really windy day, so I'm afraid the weeds have been allowed to survive for another day.  W did a bit outside, mainly in the polytunnel.  I did some fluting, and some sewing.
