One Among Many

Yesterday's kiln loading turned into this evening's unloading.  The haul included a few gems and almost all are pleasing.   As this was for the most part a test firing of little used glazes, it definitely counts as a success.  There are learning points, particularly with the dipping glazes but that was the aim of testing them, to learn how to get the best from them.

Earlier I had done a few chores, cooked lunch for myself, Jamie and his support worker C.   Savoury pancakes, a fairly easy option.  Tasty!   This afternoon I did some more work in the greenhouse, potting on some plants and also finished a job I started last week, severe cutting back of the huge shrub by my front door.   It looks like it's been savaged at the moment but I know it will soon grow back, I must take more regular action to keep it in check.
