Craft Beer

I’ve decided I need some new golf clubs (I know, blame the tools ..) so after last year’s successful move to a new, custom-fitted driver I’m following the same approach for my irons. The first session was this morning, an hour spent with the pro as he worked out the correct shaft length, head angle, type of shaft etc as I battered golf balls at the Trackman screen. That done, we’ll move on to the various manufacturers’ models and hopefully end up with some clubs that I’m confident of using. It’s a big change from me buying clubs on eBay and giving them a go!
Changing sports, we’d a crunch tenpin match this evening. After the first game we’d dropped to bottom of the league but we won the next game to stay second bottom. One game left!
Afterwards nipped into the Rosie for a quick pint with JacktheLad. No seats in the main bar but the Jug was cosy.
