Apple Fairy , Hardwick Hall .

We had our very own apple fairy to guide us round the Orchard at Hardwick Hall , she then took us round the grand old house which once belonged to Bess of Hardwick. Bess was once the richest woman in England accept for Elizabeth 1st who was queen at the time . Florent has been round the house a few times and was able to take us to all the best bits and tell us about them . The four poster beds, the beautiful dress commissioned for the queen and the kitchens ( I liked those best )
We had a grand day out but not really much chance to write about it . Will catch up with your blips once we get home .
