Walking the plank

I took the dogs across Jean’s fields and then to the lake. The short cut to the lake involves walking the plank across the ditch. So far not fallen in! There were some big fish sunning themselves in the lake and lots of yellow irises around the edge. Also I saw a few swallows. Back home and did a bit of gardening involving bind weed and brambles.
