Wooten wawen

I met B at Wooten wawen this afternoon and we went for a walk along the canal with the dogs. We saw this heron just waiting by the edge of the canal. After a couple of minutes it flew off. Later we saw two herons in flight across the canal. We also saw lots of blue damselflies. Lots of dog roses and yellow irises along the towpath. We stopped at our usual place for a mini snack.
