The Only One
Went out and god paint and some other bits and pieces this morning and dropped off some unneeded crockery and cutlery at the charity shop on the way.
The painting of the woodwork was interrupted by a trip to the health centre complete with my laptop.
I had received a slightly 'dodgy' e-mail claiming to be from the health service telling me that my account was to be shut down because I hadn't used it for 2 years and if I wanted to be able to use on-line prescription ordering and get access to my medical records etc I had to use the link attached. I have been using on-line ordering for a number of years and know that I cannot get access to my medical history so when I got a call from the health centre to say that my blood pressure is normal (I had done a weeks' diary and handed it in the other day) I mentioned the e-mail - and was asked if I could bring it in for them to see. 3 members of confused staff later it is suspected that somehow the English NHS has sent me the e-mail by mistake. Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain if that is correct and to try and get things sorted out.
The woodwork in the kitchen/dining-room has been done. Just the door and curtain rails to do tomorrow. The plasterwork seems to be taking a while to dry and is still kind of dark.
