32 degrees today!

Looks like the children are pretty tired as they slept for an extra two hours this morning! Then we went to the beach for croissants, digging and swimming, until it got too hot at midday, and we came home for some pool time.
Papi went to the veg stall for some cherries, so the children and I made clafoutis, with only one skirmish, and while we were doing that he went out for a seafood takeaway.
The children were keen to try the crab, langoustines, prawns and tiny shrimp, and Henry even tried a whelk but didn’t think much of it! They have tried oysters before and didn’t want to try again.
