Flower Friday

There were several of these Ox Eye Daises beside the track along which I walked this morning, here in Macclesfield, on my way to get the morning paper. So I grabbed a few photos for BikerBear's FF challenge - thanks Anni!

And thanks to everyone for their good wishes yesterday in connection with this afternoon's funeral for a close friend of my Editor's family. He had a very good send off with a real celebration of his life: his son gave a wonderful tribute, a granddaughter read a poem and another granddaughter played a beautiful violin piece in memory of her granddad. Much catching up was done at the wake afterwards.
