Walk in Teggs Nose Country Park

The weather forecast was quite good (and in fact the weather turned out better than forecast) so we decided that after 2 pretty sedentary days a walk would be nice. Unless you walk along the canal, almost every walk from Macclesfield involves a fair bit of hill climbing so we certainly got some exercise; our route took us through Teggs Nose Country Park. It's an excellent route as it includes a coffee stop at just the right time, and we got to a lovely pub (the Church House at Sutton) at a good time for a tasty lunch.

The scene in the main blip shows the reward we had for our efforts - the onward trail from that viewpoint took us down to those reservoirs and across the dam. We chuckled at the sign in the first extra (one of the reservoirs is called Bottoms Reservoir). We also liked the carved tree in a garden - the second extra.
