Went to look at the house in Mapperley Park this morning. I liked it much better than I expected. The only real negatives were the size of the garden (too big) and that the only outside way to get to the back garden from the front of the house was via a right of way through the property next door. I came home with a lot to think about. If this property had been available when I moved back to Nottingham I would have bought it, but I’m not in that position now.
Got home and walked down to LM’s for a meeting about Lark in the Park and a shared lunch. When that had finished I went to the decorators merchants to buy some paint ready for Monday, went to the supermarket for a few things I’d forgotten and then did some tidying in the garden. Was expecting to spend the evening trying to decide about the house but got a phone call from the agent to say that an offer had been accepted from someone who had already sold their property. Decision made for me!!
