End of an era

It was Leo’s last training session with his goalie coach and mates.  It feels like a real end of era time as he has been training for well over a decade.  I can’t remember exactly when he started but he was little!

By the time the best sessions kick off in September he will be at Uni so will have to content himself with popping in to see them every now and gain over vacation times.

Hopefully he can join in at Uni with some football / goalie training.

This is the last activity for me too. He has been going to the gym and his normal footie training under his own steam since he has been able to drive.  Getting to this training meant a quick turnaround after College where he didn’t have his car so I used to finish work early, pick him up for a bite to eat and then we would head off to training.  Now, after running him around like a mad thing for years, this is the final duty dropped!

I will miss going to this one.  It was always entertaining watching the lads and chatting to the Dads as we watched their shenanigans.
