“We Are Just Good Friends.”……

Well, only just. Ruby edges up to Marigold who is snuggled up in dappled sunlight on an old Lazy Boy Rocker chair under the patio eaves. A few short weeks ago Marigold and Ruby had a brief but violent altercation in the garden in the dark. Ruby screamed blue murder and fled. There were no signs of injury to either of them but Ruby became very fearful of Marigold. Over time they are becoming friends, even touching noses. But Marigold still has the upper paw. Note the healing scratches on her nose. She guards the property and will take on any foolhardy feline who dares to trespass. Be careful Ruby….. Don’t push your luck…..
