Vineyard View…..

Out in the countryside, a view from a narrow back road. The grapevines are naked of leaves but awaiting pruning and the tying back to three or four stems.
I took some time out to drive around some areas unfamiliar to me. A real treat. There are so many lovely areas to see and appreciate. Marlborough is a very big place.
The first of June today. Winter is here. Ruby and I walked from home in the dark very early this morning. She loved it. The River paths were pretty empty of people and activities. I let her off leash and she was quite well behaved, meeting and greeting some dogs she knew from the dog park. She came back when called and didn’t take much notice of ducks on the river. I’m pleased about that because Maisie was often tempted into chasing ducks.
