Hungry mouths

Lots of hungry little mouths to feed in the garden today. My main blip is of three young goldfinches which are just starting to feed themselves from the bird feeder. They have their coloured tail feathers but not their red caps yet. 
In the extra we have (clockwise) adult greenfinch, great tit, pair of young sparrows, adult male bullfinch. All shots taken through glass.
It’s rained for most of today, quite heavy at times but I timed it well and had a walk up at the reservoir this morning and stayed dry. I didn’t take a camera with me and for once had no reason to regret it. Apart from a group of geese on the water, there was nothing to see and the heavy clouds kept it very dull.
